HMD Global introduced the Nokia X6 smartphone in China. Few weeks after the phone went on sale in China, the company has pushed a new software update that brings several new features including an option to hide the notch, similar to most of the smartphones. The update also brings updates to AI portraits that lets you swap the background. Optimize WiFi experience in specific scenarios Optimize some game screen touch experience Improve the smoothness of Android 8.1 Added portrait cutouts, background locking, option to hide apps, Swipe to delete SMS, UI improvements and more Update to built-in applications Optimize system stability Android Security Patch Update - June 2018 The Nokia X6 v229D.B01 update is 554 MB in size and also includes Android security update for June 2018. HMD Global is yet to release the Nokia X6 smartphone outside China. At the launch HMD Global Chief Product Officer, Juho Sarvikas hinted that the Nokia X6 might be available outside China, but he did not reveal when we can expect it. Source
