Though Honor 7X was launched with Android 7.0 Nougat, the company quickly announced that it will roll out the Oreo update soon. Before the official roll out, the company has a habit of making the update available for beta testers for feedback. Not so long ago, Huawei announced that it need beta testers for the first glimpse of Oreo and EMUI 8 on the Honor 7X and today it has mailed the users who signed up for the beta; FUT (Friendly User Test) saying that the update for the Oreo beta would be rolled out by the end of the week. The company says that it will be a staged roll out throughout the day and everyone should have the update before the end of the week. The Android 8.0 Oreo update for Honor 7X brings EMUI 8.0 with a bunch of new features including A.I enhancements, floating navigation dock, screen resolution adjustment, fingerprint gestures, dynamic wallpaper, navigation bar customizations, intelligent split-screen interface, simplified one-hand operation and smart view on landscape and easy switch.
