Spotify has acquired sound identification startup Sonalytic. The UK based firm specializes in audio and music recognition system. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Spotify said it will use Sonalytic’s audio feature detection to improve “Spotify’s personalized playlists to matching songs with compositions to improve our publishing data system”.
