Japanese carrier au by KDDI has partnered with Kyocera and product designer Naoto Fukasawa to announce INFORBAR A03, the latest designer smartphone in the INFORBAR sreies. The smartphone has a 4.5-inch 1080p IGZO display and comes with anodized aluminum body. It is powered by a Snapdragon 801 SoC, has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It runs on Android KitKat with a custom skin on top by award-winning artist and experimental web designer Yugo Nakamura. It is a refresh of Iida UI that was introduced in the INFORBAR A01 smartphone. The smartphone even has IPX5/8 ratings for water resistance and is dust proof (IP5X).
