Apple launched the iPhone 6 Plus, the company’s first large screen smartphone in October. We have already seen the unboxing, photo gallery, benchmarks, battery test and review of the iPhone 6 Plus. Now let’s compare the iPhone 6 Plus with Sony Xperia Z Ultra that was launched last year in June. The iPhone 6 Plus sports a 5.5 inch Retina HD display screen (1920 x 1080 pixels) and is powered by a new Apple A8 processor. The Xperia Z Ultrasports a 6.4 inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Triluminos Display with X-Reality engine and is powered by 2.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800. The iPhone 6 Plus runs on iOS 8 while the Z Ultra was launched with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean but was updated this year to Android 4.4 KitKat. The iPhone 6 Plus has a 1.2MP front facing FaceTime camera with 720p HD video recording and Z Ultra has a 2MP front facing camera with 1080p video recording. The iPhone 6 Plus has the trademark physical home button along with the Touch ID fingerprint sensor.
