HMD Global has scheduled an event in London on October 4th where the company is expected to launch a brand new smartphone which is rumored to be the successor of the Nokia 7; the Nokia 7.1/ 7.1 Plus. Now the smartphone has surfaced online in the name of 'Nokia Phoenix.'  The leaked hands-on image interestingly enough shows the device in a brand new color and the back reveals dual-rear cameras arranged similarly as the Nokia 7 Plus. Another leaked hands-on-image shows the device in a  traditional silver color option. It is also rumored that the device might come in two variants; one with a notch which is the Nokia 7.1 Plus and another one without the notch which will be the Nokia 7.1. As for the specifications, the Nokia 7.1/Plus might be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC, will have dual-rear cameras and rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. It is expected to sport a 6-inch Full HD+ display, 4/6GB RAM, 64GB storage with a slot for microSD card. Though the Chinese version of the Nokia 7.1/ 7.1 Plus might be named as X7, the global version will be launched under Android One program and there are chanced that it might run on Android 9.0 Pie right ...
