Google today announced that starting today, users can use Google Maps to easily plan where to go as a group. All you have to do is just long press on any place to add the place to shortlist-the small floating bubble on the side of your screen. Once you've added places, you can quickly share the list with your friends on any messaging platform, add or remove additional places, and vote together in Google Maps. Though this might sound familiar, but including Maps within group planning functionality is very convenient. The group planning feature in Maps starts rolling out for Android and iOS this week. Sophia Lin, Senior Product Manager, Google Maps in a blog post said: Starting today, you can use Google Maps to easily plan where to go as a group.
