Xiaomi announced the latest iteration of its own proprietary Android skin MIUI, dubbed MIUI 11 at an event in India. MIUI 11 aims to bring a brand new optimized modern UI design focused on content viewing and has along with nifty additions designed specifically for India. The company has already rolled out MIUI 11 to most of the devices including Redmi K20 series, Redmi Note 7 series, Redmi Note 6 Pro, Redmi 6 series, Redmi Note 5 Pro, and others and has already started testing MIUI Stable Beta for the second and third batch of devices. The new update comes as MIUI 11.0.2.0.NAMMIXM and weighs around 483MB in size. Xiaomi has not updated the Android Security patch on the device and it still runs on almost a year old October 2018 patch.
