Several companies have started rolling out 5G smartphones especially in China. Last week Vivo iQOO Pro 5G was announced, Xiaomi is expected to introduce Mi 9S with 5G support next month, next-gen Vivo NEX will also support 5G. Today, in a reply to a user's comment on weibo, HONOR President Zhao Ming said that the upcoming HONOR V30 will come with 5G support. This will be the successor of V20 that was introduced in China back in December last year. This is rumored to be powered by Kirin 985 SoC and should use HUAWEI Balong 5000 5G multi-mode modem. Earlier rumors revealed 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB versions, 48MP + 12MP + 8MP triple rear cameras, 32MP front camera, in-display fingerprint scanner and an AMOLED display. It is rumored to start at 2999 yuan (US$ 420 / Rs. 30,220 approx.) and go official sometime in Q4 2019. In the other news Redmi General Manager, Lu Weibing has also confirmed 5G support for the Redmi K30. This should be the K30 Pro successor of the K20 Pro that was introduced in China back in May.
