Xiaomi launched Mi TV 4C Pro 32-inch HD ready TV running Patchwall based on Android 8.1 (Oreo) last year, making the company one of the first to ship Android 8.1 (Oreo) out of the box. The company launched the Mi LED TV 4A PRO earlier this year with the same OS version. Today the company has announced that it has started rolling out Android 9.0 (Pie) Android TV update to these users. Xiaomi also adds that these are one of the TVs to get Android Pie update. Other older models will get the update after that. The Mi TV 4A 32-inch and 43-inch models will also get the update soon, and the company started beta testing for them last month. Xiaomi launched Mi TV 4A 32-inch HD ready and 43-inch Full HD models last year running Patchwall based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). These will get Android 9.0 (Pie) Android TV update directly, skipping Android Oreo.
