It looks like Google is planning to reveal a lot of hardware products on October 9th event. One among them is the Pixel Slate book aka‘Nocturne’, which was in the news for a while and today we are getting to see the detachable tablet in render images. Going the leaked images, it looks like the Pixel Slate book will run on Chrome OS as expected and feature a detachable keyboard and an active stylus. It will be the first Chrome OS tablet and has slightly newer software and UI design. It will feature a touchscreen display with 3:2 aspect ratio and comes with a capacitive stylus similar to the one launched with last year’s Pixelbook laptop. It looks like the Pixel Slate book will have a front camera and a rear camera along with the Google logo. The power button is at the top and it could feature a built-in fingerprint reader. It has a USB-Type C port on the side and features front-facing stereo speakers.
