After the controversial API changes, Twitter is all set to introduce new features for its native application. Named as 'Presence' and 'Threading', the Presence features lets users see who else is online at any given moment, while the Threading will make replies more like messaging interface. Sara Haider, Head of product, Twitter, showcased this new feature through a tweet. The blue color is basically 'you' replying to the tweet, whereas the purple is for those who tweeted originally.
